Substance Use Evaluations. (LADC Evals)
Alcohol and Drug evaluations are done by a Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MLADC). They are designed to offer a thorough understanding of your situation, inform about recommendations, and to guide the next steps in toward recovery.
Evaluation Process
The LADC evaluation at LifeWorks is a detailed process, tailored to gather all necessary information to accurately assess your needs. This process typically involves:
- Initial Sessions: Three 60-minute counseling sessions are generally required as a minimum. During these sessions, our MLADC works closely with you to understand your history, current challenges, and any other relevant information that can aid the assessment.
- Information Gathering: Our MLADC will conduct additional background gathering to ensure a comprehensive evaluation.
- Written Evaluation: After completing the sessions and background gathering, our MLADC will finalize the written assessment, detailing findings and recommendations.
